OYEA recognises young teachers who have shown admirable passion for teaching, and commitment to inspiring and nurturing their students. These teachers embody youthful idealism, energy and enthusiasm, and inspire both their students and peers through their words and deeds. Teachers who are 35 years old and below in 2026 are eligible for the award.

Celebrating Excellence in Education!
Congratulations to Mr Lim Yang Jun on receiving the prestigious Outstanding Youth in Education Award (OYEA) 2025!
As our school's Student Well-Being Coordinator, Mr Lim has made remarkable strides in championing inclusive education through innovative initiatives. His leadership of the Purple Parade has fostered greater understanding of diverse learning needs, while his creative use of dramatisation techniques has transformed the classroom experience.
Beyond teaching, Mr Lim leads the school's Counselling, TRANSIT and Special Education Needs team, working tirelessly to strengthen support systems for students and collaborating with family service centres to create comprehensive support networks.
The OYEA recognises exceptional young educators who demonstrate remarkable passion and dedication in nurturing our next generation. Mr Lim exemplifies the spirit of this award through his unwavering commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
