Consent for Photography and Videos
CONSENT FOR THE USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS / VIDEOS OF STUDENTS IN SCHOOL COMMUNICATION PLATFORMS AND FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING PURPOSES
Our school may collect and use photographs/videos of students without explicit consent under circumstances permitted by the Instruction Manual on ICT & Smart Systems Management (IM8) and Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), including when:

The collection or use is necessary for any purpose that is clearly in the interests of the individual, if consent cannot be obtained in a timely way or the individual would not reasonably be expected to withhold consent

The collection or use is necessary to respond to an emergency that threatens life, health or safety

The personal data is publicly available

The collection or use is necessary for investigation or proceedings

The collection or use is necessary for evaluative purposes
School Communication and Publicity
Photographs or video images of students or their parents/legal guardians may be taken during school activities and events such as classroom lessons, CCA, school camps, or school concerts. The school may use and publish such photographs or video recordings in school publications, the school’s website, social media channels, or other communication channels.
Teaching and Learning Purposes
Photographs or video recordings may also be taken during various educational activities including classroom lessons, assessments, presentations, and learning activities. The school may use these recordings for educational purposes including assessment, instruction, professional development, and improving teaching and learning practices. Recordings will be stored securely and used only by authorized school personnel for legitimate educational purposes.
