It was indeed Prize-Giving Day yesterday when Fuhua Primary came in second for the 2014 Panasonic Young Film-maker Award and achieved Merit at the Green Carpet Award. Continue to shine bright, Fuhua GEMs! The achievements were indeed a nice round-up to the school term.
Congratulations to Fuhua's very own Subject Head/Malay Language, Mdm Nuraina Mohamed Sin, for being among the six Malay Language teachers who received the Arif Budiman Malay Teacher Award 2014 yesterday from Manpower Minister Tan Chuan-Jin!

This Berita Minggu article shows our Fuhua Primary Football (Girls) squad member, P6 student Dorcas Chu, who has been selected to be part of the national under 14 squad and might be fielded in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) tournament in Vietnam this June. Fuhua Primary was one of the 2 primary schools that the National University Cancer Institute (NCIS) and the National University Hospital (NUH) partnered with during this year's Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

Have you picked up the latest edition of BRIDGE, the publication by Southwest CDC? Our Fuhua GEMs were captured as part of the 1,500 volunteers involved in the rice distribution for the "Usher in the Festivity @ Yuhua". So proud that our GEMs are practicing our vision of a Gracious Citizen!
